The Gregory Makalu Pro features load lifter straps at the tops of the shoulder straps which are adjustable at the top of the pack and at the junction of the shoulder straps and load lifter straps. The metal buckles at the junction of the shoulder straps and the lifter straps (indicated by green arrow) can be moved up and down the lifter strap (red arrow) to change the angle of the lifter straps. |
The Auto-Cant shoulder harness automatically adjusts to fit the user, and provides two strap position options for torso adjustment (in photo above back pading has been pulled down to expose adjustments points).The pack is shown with the shoulder straps inserted into the longer setting (upper slot shown by red arrow). The lower setting (green arrow)can be used for shorter torso lengths. The sternum strap is held in place between a layer of hook and loop fastener which runs the length of the contoured shoulder straps and allows adjustment of positioning of sternum strap (model's hand is between the two layers in photo above). |
