2 Methods for opening pliers
Method 1: Push the plier lock buttons in, then while holding the buttons in, slide the pliers out.
Gerber Diesel Multi-Plier 600 Method 2: For the "Wrist Flick" method, firmly grasp one of the handles with the thumb and forefinger and swiftly flick your wrist in a downward motion. Centrifugal force will slide out the pliers and lock them in to place, ready for use.
