Combi 2 base version. |
Base version of the Stalon Combi without
vestibules. The vestibules can now be zipped off the main roof to use
as an insect free sun shelter or to add modular additions to the base
version as shown below. |
Image above shows the base version of the Stalon Combi
2 with an added extension. The space between the red lines shows the additional
extension that was added to the base version. The Stalon Combi Extension
has a large door on one side of the extension which can be seen open with
a model and two bikes inside. To add this extension to the base model,
an additional pole would have to be purchased as well. |
Base version of Stalon Combi 2 with extension and
additional roof module and inner tent. The extension is contained within
the red lines while the additional roof is contained within the blue lines.
The yellow arrow points to the additional inner tent. The extension, additional
main roof and inner tent are sold separately. With the setup above you
would also need an additional two poles, one for the extension and one
for the additional main roof. In addition to the modules added above,
the Stalon Combi 2 has extra vestibules available and can also be combined
and used with the Stalon Combi 4 to have a plethora of setup options. |

Images below are of the 2004 Hilleberg Stalon tent. The 2004 Stalon is not modular. The vestibules do not have the ability to zip off and other extensions or additional parts can not be added the 2004 version. However the dimensions and the general setup of the 2004 are the same as the post 2004 version. |
The Hilleberg Stalon is pictured at left with a 5'11" model. Stalon is an exoskeleton tent that is set up with the poles in the outer tent (fly). The inner tent is attached to the fly on the inside. Tent is pictured at left in this full set-up, with the inner tent and fly set up as one unit.

The inner tent can be set up separately to be used in warmer conditions. To set up the inner tent separately, you need four pole holders (sold separately) and two guy lines to keep the inner tent erect. The poles are run through the elastic suspension loops that usually attach the inner tent to the outer tent. For additional

tent, |

The outer tent of the Stalon can be set-up without the inner tent. The image at left shows the outer tent of the Stalon with a 5'11" entering the outer tent. For additional
