Leatherman Ukiah

Leatherman Ukiah hunting knife features a 154CM stainless steel fixed blade, shown above.	Included with the Ukiah is a premium, diamond-coated sharpening system which features a fine-point sharpening groove for fine-point work. The sharpener stows in itself for compact storage.

The Ukiah features a rotating handle design that enables the user to stow the knife blade before safely using the full-size gut hook. The green arrow points to the button release mechanism that allows the knife to rotate into either position.	View of the gut hook deployed and the knife in its stowed position. The gut hook and the knife lock into their positions and are able to be rotated again once the silver button is depressed as in the image at left.

The bone saw is deployed over the knife blade by way of two thumbstuds located on either side of the bone saw. In the image above the models' thumb is on one of the thumbstuds moving the saw towards the knife.	Ukiah with the bone saw fully deployed. The bone saw locks into place over the knife blade. The saw being over the knife blade offers extra rigidity for tough tasks when using the saw. The bone saw is unlocked by pushing the silver button as in image above. This allows the bone saw to be retracted and closed.

Ukiah comes with an elegant and durable dark brown leather sheath that features button closure for quiet operation in the field. A sturdy belt loop for placement onto a pack, gear bag, or belt permits hands-free portability. The sheath also incorporates a side compartment for storing the sharpening system.
