| The Gregory Shasta features two ice axe holders, a side
water bottle holster, separate sleeping bag compartment and a daisy chain
to organize gear. The top lid of the pack can be removed and used as a
fanny pack (see below). |
A hydration bladder pocket and port at the top of the main
compartment allows a hydration system to be routed on the right side of
the Gregory Shasta. (Hydration system is not included) |

| Photo above shows the 2 ice axe holders and the waterproof
Shelter-Rite material used at the bottom of the Gregory Shasta.
The Shelter-Rite material (shiny black in photo above) has a durable rubbery
feel to it. |
The Gregory Shasta has a side mounted water bottle holster
which fits standard Nalgene bottles, and has an elastic cord which fits
around the neck of the bottle to help keep it in place. The near-horizonal
angle of the bottle holder facilitates access while wearing the pack. |

| The top lid of the Gregory Shasta can be detached and used
as a fanny pack. Five attachment points hold the lid to the bag, and the
hipbelt stows behind a panel on the underside of the lid. |
Photo above shows the Gregory Shasta lid detached and configured
to be used as a fanny pack. The quick release buckles at the corners of
the lid have been connected to each other, and the hipbelt has been removed
from its stash pocket for use. |
